Our lives are created by the decisions we make, and the quality of those decisions determines the quality of lives we live. So many of us go looking for the love we never had growing up that we end up in conditional relationships. We attract the wrong partner when we are seeking love from anything and anyone outside ourselves. This can only result in an unhappy relationship. Your quality of life will be better. If you only seek romantic love, you will  demonstrate ‘needy behaviors’ towards potential partners. Being single will help you build your independence as a person. Be independent in making your decisions for your health, wealth, and friendships. It’s all up to you and your decisions. When you are single by choice or for your first time in a while, you can begin to improve the quality of your decisions by making choices that support your individuality. Independent singles are either single by circumstance to better themselves as a person in-between relationships or because they are not interested in romantic relationships and are single by choice.

Depend On Yourself

Perhaps the best part about being single is proving to yourself that you can depend on yourself. It can be frightening when you are the only income earner, but it can also be very exciting. You can work multiple jobs until your career begins to pay well. You have time while you are single to be creative in your income earning methods. Have fun with it, and remember to work your ass off so you can have a better future. Depend on yourself, now and forever more. Independent singles depend on themselves to make their dreams and life goals a reality. 

Being Alone Is Better Than Being In Bad Company

Being in a relationship with the wrong person is a lot worse than being free and single. There is nothing wrong with being single so do not be afraid to exit a bad relationship. It’s your life and you only have one life to live. Choose to be single, and spend your time wisely with people who build you up and make you better. Spend time with people who reciprocate love. They can be friends or family. 

Summary

Your relationship status is a choice. You could be in a relationship with the wrong person who could be abusive or with someone who you do not want to spend time with only to be dating someone. It is better to be single then to be in a horrible relationship with someone. Choose to be single over being in a relationship that you don't want to be in. Independent singles make decisions that support you and it is time to depend solely on yourself by exiting that bad relationship. Being single is a choice and it provides a better quality of life than being in a romantic relationship. Independent singles recognize that a partner will never bring happiness to life because you are responsible for your own happiness.
