It is that time of year. 2018 is a few days away and that means that you need to make a New Year’s Resolution for New Year's. A study found that only 42.4% of everyone succeed in keeping their New Year’s Resolution each year. Here are eighteen New Year’s Resolutions for 2018.
Health
Go To the Gym
A classic resolution. Go the gym more and lift weights or do cardio to become a better healthier person.
Start Doing Yoga
Start doing yoga to becoming more flexible, work on your breathing, or to try something new.
Learn to Cook
Learn to cook to cut back on spending money going out. Cooking at home is healthier too than going out and saves you money.
Lose Weight
Lose x number of pounds this year by exercising, working out, and going to the gym.
Finances
Follow a Budget
Actually make and follow a budget this year. Cut out any unnecessary expenses that you may find while making your budget.
Cut Back On Credit Card Expenses
Review your credit card statements and cancel any memberships, subscriptions, or costs that are costing you money each month.
Pay Off Any Debt
Direct more money towards paying of any debt that you may have or consider getting a second part-time job to pay off your debt.
Save/Invest Money
Save more of your money and consider investing it into the stocks, bonds, or a Roth IRA.
Save Money for a Down Payment
Save more money each month to go towards a down payment to move into a permanent house instead of paying for rent each month.

Spend More Time with Friends
Go out with your friends more often or attend activities that your friends are involved in to see them more often.
Spend More Time with Family
Visit your family more often to spend time with your family more or call them more often than you did last year.
Attend More Events
Find fun and interesting events to attend where you live to meet new people and to learn more about the world.

Volunteer
Find somewhere to volunteer this year. Singles volunteer more than couples so this is a great one for those who are single.
Career
Take a Certification Test
Study for the certification that you need to pass to move up in your job to get paid more and to stand out more on your resume to employers.
Go Back to School
Go back to school to get a degree in a field that you want to get into or to change fields.
Spirituality
Pray More
Set a goal for how much you want to pray each day and what type of prayer it is for next year.
Go Back to Church
Start going back to church or explore another religion.
Travel
Go on a Trip
